Actress Busy Philipps (Cougar Town, Freaks and Geeks) is starring in the new dark comedy series on HBO, Vice Principals. When the principal of North Jackson High School (Bill Murray) leaves his job, the two power-hungry vice principals (portrayed by Lee Russell, Danny McBride) vie for the top position. But an outsider gets the job which provokes both men to do things they should regret.
Philipps plays Gale Liptrapp, Neil Gamby’s (Danny McBride) ex-wife who has remarried. Philipps will show a clip on Late Show With Stephen Colbert on July 11 at 11:35pm on CBS. Vice Principals premieres July 17 at 10:30pm on HBO.
