In the TV movie Stop the Wedding, when suave TV star Sean Castleberry (Alan Thicke) announces that he’s getting married again, his son Clay is not happy. “It’s a recipe for disaster,” he tells his future stepmother’s niece Anna, who agrees. Clay and Anna (Rachel Boston) team up to “Stop the Wedding,” and along the way the attractive young couple falls in love.
Sean Castleberry is portrayed by TV star Alan Thicke. The Canadian-born actor is best known for his role as Dr. Jason Seaver on Growing Pains (1985-1992) and for writing the theme songs for The Facts of Life, Diff’rent Strokes, and composing the theme song for Wheel of Fortune. Thicke, the father of “Blurred Lines” singer Robin Thicke, is currently married to his third wife Tanya Callau (since 2005). He was previously married to Miss World 1990 Gina Marie Tolleson, and Gloria Loring who sang the theme songs mentioned above. Stop the Wedding premieres on June 11 at 9pm on Hallmark. It will air again on June 12 at 3pm, June 18 at 7pm, June 19 at 11am, and June 25 at 5pm.
