In the NCIS: Los Angeles episode “Core Values,” when a U.S. Marine gunnery sergeant is sent to the hospital for radiation poisoning, Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) go undercover at a decommissioned nuclear power plant. Turns out the gunnery sergeant was moonlighting as a security guard at the plant, and keeping it a secret — even from his pregnant wife Jamie Patterson.
Jamie Patterson is portrayed by Pisay Pao. She’s known for her role as Cassandra aka Sunshine in the Syfy TV series Z Nation, about a group of people trying to survive in a post-zombie apocalypse. Pao also appeared in the 2009 film The Whole Truth with Elisabeth Rohm and Eric Roberts. Interesting fact about Pao: She was born in a refugee camp in Thailand. She and her parents moved to Seattle, Washington when she was two. NCIS: Los Angeles airs Fridays at 8pm on CBS.
