In the Million Dollar Listing New York episode “Take a Walker,” overconfident real estate broker Fredrik Eklund confronts fellow broker Nicholas Palance. Last week, Nick showed up at Fredrik’s open house for Zach Vella’s penthouse in Tribeca. Fredrik has it listed for $30 million which most of the potential buyers at the open house balked at. One suggested $22 million. At the open house, Nick suggested that it’s time for Fredrik to “pass the torch” on the property that’s been on the market for a long time. “Sometimes people smell blood in the water.” Shortly after that conversation Nick introduced himself to Fredrik’s longtime client, and owner of the penthouse, Zach Vella.
Nick is the found of The Nicholas Zachary Palance Team at Douglas Elliman. His claim to fame is being the youngest Executive Vice President, Director of Sales at Brown Harris Stevens. He has won the 1st Place Deal of the Year Award from the Real Estate Board of New York as well as Rookie of the Year Award for first year performance in NYC real estate sales. So yes, he’s a real threat to Fredrik. Million Dollar Listing New York airs Thursdays at 9pm on Bravo.
