On The Bachelorette, Jojo Fletcher and 12 of her male suitors go on a group date to a Los Angeles theatre. They participate in a live storytelling series called Sunday Night Sex Talks. It was a live storytelling show originally created for women only to talk openly on stage about sex — described as “The Moth meets The Vagina Monologues.” Since then, a Co-Ed Sex Talk has developed for men and women to share their sex stories. The creator of Sunday Night Sex Talks, Jessie Rosen, describes the co-ed show as “The Moth meets HBO’s Real Sex.”
[Sunday Night Sex Talks creator Jessie Rosen is also the author of the novel Dead Ringer]
Sunday Night Sex Talks occur monthly in Los Angeles with No Boys and Co-Ed performances held at a variety of places including the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and USB Sunset, among others. Tickets usually run about $10 at the door. The program is also available for private events. The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
