Pato & Ginger isn’t the only man/dog duo to compete on Season 11 of America’s Got Talent. Earlier in the auditions, Jose and his golden retriever Carrie performed a merengue number. During Week 5 auditions, Pato & Ginger do more than dance. Ginger shows off her agility by balancing on a rope and performing crazy acrobatic flips — and to the Kenny Loggins’ song Footloose to boot. Plus, Pato & Ginger have a sweet, deeper connection.
Before the Pato & Ginger performance, AGT judge Simon Cowell inquired about Pato’s OCD. Pato confirmed that he does have OCD and that working with Ginger has been helpful. “She’s my sister, my best friend, she’s everything to me,” says Pato. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays on NBC.
