Kadie Lynn Roberson is the 12-year-old country/gospel singer from a small town in Texas (one traffic light small) who wowed the audience and judges at her audition on America’s Got Talent, Season 11. She sang Merle Haggard’s “Twinkle, Twinkle Lucky Star” while playing the guitar. Kadie started singing when she was three years old and she’s been performing ever since. Her honors include singing for the Prime Minister of the Bahamas and opening for Vanilla Ice (Gun Barrel City Hall, 2013). Oh, and she recently won “Female Vocalist of the Year” in the East Texas ETX Annual Music Awards.
Kadie Lynn, who lists Willie Nelson, Reba, Billie Jo Armstrong, and Benjamin Burnley as her favorite singers, just released her debut single “Stronger.” (See video below.) America’s Got Talent reruns air Fridays at 8pm; new episodes air Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
