In the Chicago Fire episode “Kind of a Crazy Idea,” while firefighter Gabriela Dawson (Monica Raymund) saves a little boy from an apartment fire, fellow firefighter Joe Cruz (Joe Minoso) and paramedic Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) use a “secret weapon” to get Otis (Yuri Sardarov) to see Dr. Will Halstead and take a blood test.
Dr. Halstead is portrayed by Chicago Med’s Nick Gehlfuss. He’s also known for his roles on 50 Cent’s Power (Lee), Constantine (Dr. Thomas Galen), It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (Sean), Longmire (Cameron Maddox), Murder in the First (Mark Strauss), Shameless (Robbie Pratt), and The Newsroom (Ross Kessler), among others. Chicago Fire airs Tuesdays at 10pm on NBC.
