Season 11 of America’s Got Talent welcomes Simon Cowell to the judges’ panel (he’s replacing Howard Stern). Cowell is known as a harsh judge on the British TV talent shows The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, and on American Idol where he famously denied Jennifer Hudson — who went on to prove him wrong. (She also won an Oscar to rub it in.)
America’s Got Talent host Nick Cannon says Simon Cowell “brings expertise” to the show. Professional comedian and AGT judge Howie Mandel says Cowell is “very, very funny.” Mandel likes how Cowell asks the contestants “purposely ridiculous questions.” The one thing that no one has yet to comment on his Cowell’s fashion sense. (People always had something to say about Stern’s alleged ‘primping’ for TV.) Cowell tends to leave his shirts mostly unbuttoned, revealing a hairy cleavage (see photo above). America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
