The 2016 Met Gala is held at The Costume Institute at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on May 2, 2016. There’s great pressure for celebrities to look their best, particularly as they arrive on the red carpet. There will be many familiar faces and bodies including those of fashion forward Rihanna, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Lawrence, et al. And there will be some new faces at the Met Gala this year too, including tennis star Maria Sharapova.
Sharapova posted a pre-glamorous selfie the morning of the gala (see below). Looks like she’s ready. E! Live From the Red Carpet: The 2016 Met Gala will air Monday, May 2 beginning at 7:30pm.
