On the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta episode “Free at Last,” with Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez on bad terms and his movie hitting a wall (“relocation problems”), Stevie decides to go into business with his friend Ray, who’s opening the hookah lounge called Empire Lounge in North Fulton. “The good guy always has a side hustle going on,” says Stevie. At the lounge, Stevie J and Ray are interviewing potential employees when Tommie walks in – not for a waitressing job but to talk to Stevie J about managing her.
Tommie tells Stevie J that she used to rap. “I do acting, I do everything,” says Tommie. “Let’s get this money together,” she says which makes Stevie J smile. “I don’t know Tommie to do nothing but sip Chardonnay,” says Stevie but he’s willing to hear her out — due to her man Scrapp (Stevie’s “nephew”) having to go to jail for five years. During their conversation, Tommie stands up and close to Stevie to make sure he sees all of her. “She ain’t afraid to lay the sexy down on any dude, even me,” says Stevie. While he admits that a collaboration with Tommie could be like “stepping into the danger zone,” he also likes the idea of taking on Tommie “just to play with the Puerto Rican Princess’ head.” Love & Hip Hop Atlanta airs Mondays at 8pm on VH1.
