For The Voice Live Finals, Alisan Porter decided to sing an original song of hers, “Down That Road.” Of course it’s an emotional, personal song for the former child star who’s now living a happy, sober life. But it was also a dramatic performance. On a dimly lit stage, Alisan stood fearless in a long dark, see-through gown as a line of people gathered behind her holding lanterns (see photo below).
At the end of the performance, the camera fell on Alisan’s husband and her mother, who brushed away tears. As Blake Shelton said to Alison, “You’re the real deal.” The Season 10 winner of The Voice will be announced Tuesday, May 24 at 8pm on NBC.
