One of the newest stars of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta is Tommie. She’s a self-described “chill, cool bitch” from Newark, New Jersey. She sees the similarities between herself and Stevie J’s Joseline Hernandez but Tommie says with a laugh, “I’m not always irate like the Puerto Rican maniac.”
The 28-year-old Tommie warns viewers not to judge her. “Don’t let the pretty face fool you,” she says. She’s been through a lot. During her “Meet Tommie” VH1 interview (see below), Tommie lists all the hardships she’s faced including: having been in five deadly car accidents, and having been to jail “a million times” — she had her first child in jail (he’s now seven). But when she starts talking about her man Scrapp her face lights up. “We’re inseparable,” she says, which is technically not quite true. Scrapp is now in jail, serving time on drug possession charges. Love & Hip Hop Atlanta airs Mondays at 8pm on VH1.
