On the Hawaii Five-0 episode “Malama Ka Po’e (Care for One’s People),” a mob boss from Lou Grover’s (Chi McBride) past is coming after the Captain. Glover tries to take his family — wife Renee (Michelle Hurd), daughter Samantha (Paige Hurd), and son off the grid and on the run. The end up in the jungle. Actor McBride says of his character’s son Will, “He has to grow up really quickly in this episode…This is basically Will’s bar mitzvah in the jungle.”
Will Grover is portrayed by Chose Jacobs. Hawaii Five-0 is Jacobs’ big acting break. Last year he worked as a reporter at the ESPY Awards and Image Awards Conference for FTS Kids News. Jacobs will make his big screen debut in the action film Cops and Robbers with Michael Jai White and Tom Berenger. Jacobs will play the younger version of White’s character. Hawaii Five-0 airs Fridays at 9pm on CBS.
