In the Bones episode “The Monster in the Closet,” when a social worker’s remains are found and evidence suggests she’s been dead for months before her body was dumped in a park, her death is linked to a serial killer known for desecrating corpses. During the investigation, Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) meet George Gibbons who holds a knife to Booth’s neck.
George Gibbons is portrayed by Jim Beaver. He’s known for his roles on Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad (Lawson), Supernatural (Bobby Singer), The New Adventures of Peter and Wendy (George Darling), Justified (Sheriff Shelby Parlow), Deadwood (Whitney Ellsworth), Days of Our Lives (Father Timothy Jansen), and 3rd Rock from the Sun (Happy Doug), among many others. Note: Beaver wrote his inspirational memoir, Life’s That Way, about becoming a widower and single father after his wife of 14 years died of lung cancer. Bones airs Thursdays at 8pm on FOX.
