In Jack of the Red Hearts, an 18-year-old con artist named Jack (AnnaSophia Robb) tricks desperate mother Kay (Famke Janssen) into hiring her as a live-in companion for Kay’s 11-year-old autistic daughter Glory (Taylor Richardson). Jack wants the job to earn enough money to get her own place so she can reunite with her little sister Coke, who’s in foster care. On the job, the tough exterior Jack has developed over the years starts to soften and her heart grows fond of Glory’s big brother Robert.
Robert is portrayed by Israel Broussard. He’s known for his roles in the Sofia Coppola film The Bling Ring (Marc), the TV movie Perfect High with Bella Thorne, and his appearance on Sons of Anarchy as Joey Noone. Broussard will appear next on the big screen in the comedy Good Kids with Ashley Judd. Jack of the Red Hearts premieres on Lifetime on April 23 at 8pm.
