Thomas Rhett is one of the artists who will perform at the Academy of Country Music Awards. His current album Tangled Up is nominated for Album of the Year. He’s going to sing the song “Die A Happy Man” (nominated for Single of the Year) which he wrote for his wife Lauren. Rhett said making the album was nerve-racking but now that it’s been nominated for an ACM he says, “Going with a gut feeling kinda paid off in the long run.”
A humble and happy man, Rhett says he’d love to win the award but “even if we don’t win, this song is still one of the most special songs I’ve written.” The 51st ACM Awards will air Sunday, April 3 at 8pm on CBS.
