Two of the women on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta have opened their own clothing boutiques. Rasheeda Frost opened the doors of her Pressed in Buckhead which she describes as “downstairs and around the corner from Versace, Louis Vuitton and Saks.” And Karlie Redd opened her Merci in The Mall at Stonecrest which is much further away from Versace. The anchor stores at Stonecrest are JC Penney, Kohl’s, and Macy’s.
While giving a tour of Merci in Atlanta, Karlie explained that Merci isn’t in “a snooty, high class mall” because her clothing caters to everyday style. She looked into the camera and said: “Something you can afford and not just me.” Business must be good. Redd opened another stop called Mansiion in the Los Angeles Westfield Culver City Mall which is similar to Stonecrest. Love & Hip Hop Atlanta airs Mondays at 8pm on VH1.
