Howard Stern is increasingly known as the king of all interviews. Stern must have some kind of magic chair or he must slip something into the celebrity coffee. Because in a world where we know everything — far too much — about the celebrities that flicker through our world, Stern usually manages to coax a previously unearthed tidbit or two from whoever his guest is. You wouldn’t think Anderson Cooper would have much more to say about his famous mom, Gloria Vanderbilt. After all, the mother and son team just authored a book meant to be, quite literally, a tell-all.

But Vanderbilt had one of the most storied love lives of the 20th century — and love life to Howard means sex life. So he asked. He asked lots. And Cooper obliged, because — just ask Kathy Griffin — he’s obliging. So now we know, thanks to Howard Stern, that Gloria Vanderbilt experience her first orgasm courtesy of famed billionaire recluse Howard Hughes. Of course that part — like many other juicy bits — is in the book. Stern wanted more. He got it, learning from Cooper that his mom — at age 85 — was dating a man she called the “Nijinsky of cunnilingus.” It’s not totally clear what she meant: Ninjinsky was considered the most athletic and greatest male ballet dancer of the early 20th century. He also spent the last 30 years of his life in insane asylums. So it was either very athletic or very crazy cunnilingus — or both. Stern did not, somehow, get to the bottom of this little detail.
