In the Nashville episode “How Does It Feel to Be Free,” while Luke Wheeler (Will Chase) tries to convince his former singing friend Riff Bell (Steve Kazee) to join him on tour (Riff is now a farmer), Frankie (Mark Collie) argues with Deacon (Charles Esten) and Rayna (Connie Britton) about giving the new girl in town, Vita, a chance on stage.
Vita is portrayed by Jeananne Goossen. The 31-year-old Canadian actress is best known for her roles on The Walking Dead (Michelle), The Night Shift (Dr. Krista Bell-Hart), Emily Owens M.D. (Molly), Alcatraz (Nikki), NCIS (Marine Private Joan Matteson), CSI: NY (Officer Lauren Cooper), Wild Roses (Ricky), and Falcon Beach (Courtney True), among others.
