In The Middle episode “A Very Donahue Vacation,” with some money in his pocket from the diaper business, Mike Heck (Neil Flynn) surprises his family with a spring break vacation. When Frankie (Patricia Heaton) finds out the vacation is at Mammoth Cave, Kentucky, she invites the Donahues.
Ron Donahue is portrayed by Sean O’Bryan. The Kentucky-born actor is known for his roles on Agent Carter, Workaholics, The Mentalist, Dexter (Dan Mendell), and Six Feet Under (Tom Wheeler), among others. O’Bryan is also recognized for his roles in the films Yes Man (Ted) with Jim Carrey and Zooey Deschanel, The Princess Diaries (Mia’s stepfather Patrick), and Raising Helen (Paul Davis). The Middle airs Wednesdays at 8pm on ABC.
