In the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode “Sheltered Outcasts,” a homeless man is suspected of raping several women in the neighborhood. Detective Nick Carisi (Peter Scanavino) goes undercover at the homeless shelter while Rollings (Kelli Giddish) questions Richie Caskey (Michael Rapaport) who is later represented by counselor Tom Zimmerman.
Zimmerman is portrayed by Scott Grimes. He’s known for his roles on Justified (Seabass), Republic of Doyle (Jimmy O’Rourke), NCIS: Los Angeles (Special Agent Dave Flynn), ER (Dr. Archie Morris), Band of Brothers (Donald G. Malarkey), and Party of Five (Will McCorkle), among others. Grimes is also known as a voice actor on American Dad! (Steve Smith) and Family Guy (Kevin Swanson). Law & Order: SVU airs Wednesdays at 10pm on NBC.
