In The Good Wife episode “Shoot,” lawyers from the Chicago firm of Lockhart, Agos and Lee defend client Harry Dargis, a motel owner who’s mourning the death of his teenage daughter who was shot dead by a random bullet a year ago. Determined to fight gun violence in his neighborhood, Dargis put up a billboard which described a local gun store owner as a murderer. He is now being sued for defamation. Dargis’ case will be heard in front of Judge Charles Abernathy (Denis O’Hare).
Dargis is portrayed by Blair Underwood. He’s best known for his roles on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Andrew Garner), The New Adventures of Old Christine (Daniel Harris), Dirty Sexy Money (Simon Elder), Sex and the City (Dr. Robert Leeds), City of Angels (Dr. Ben Turner), and L.A. Law (Jonathan Rollins), among others. Underwood is filming a new series, Broken, with Penelope Ann Miller and Anna Paquin (produced by Reese Witherspoon). The Good Wife airs Sundays at 9pm on CBS.
