In the How to Get Away with Murder Season 2 finale episode “Anna Mae,” Annalise aka Anna Mae (Viola Davis) visits her mother Ophelia Harkness (Cicely Tyson) and tries to reassure her that she’s better. While making dinner in the kitchen with her mother, Anna Mae turns cold when she sees her estranged father walk into the house.
Anna Mae’s father is portrayed by Roger Robinson. The veteran actor has appeared on dozens of TV shows over the years from Kojak and Baretta to ER and Elementary. Robinson most recently had a recurring role on Rubicon (Ed Bancroft). Fun fact: Robinson and Tyson were both in the TV mini-series King (Tyson played Loretta Scott King; Robinson played Reverend Fred Shuttlesworth). How to Get Away with Murder airs Thursdays at 10pm on ABC.
