Many men in politics are known to go gray while in office. There are plenty of before and after photo montages of modern U.S. presidents (before and after the White House) that illustrate the toll taken on their their heads of hair while serving as Commander in Chief. (With the exception of the forever raven-haired Ronald Reagan.) And no wonder, it’s a highly stressful job.
Kudos to the writers or stylists or whoever is in charge of graying the male characters in the politically driven drama The Good Wife. Over the years, viewers have witnessed the subtle graying of Governor Peter Florrick (Chris Noth) while fighting for his political life. And his ever-loyal right-hand man Eli Gold (Alan Cumming) is following suit. It’s a nice touch for the final season of The Good Wife, which airs Sundays at 9pm on CBS.
