On the New Girl episode “Bob & Carol & Nick & Schmidt,” while Winston (Lamorne Morris) and Cece (Hannah Simone) shop for a wedding dress, Nick (Jake Johnson) starts hiding his stuff at the loft when he hears his cousin Bob and his wife Carol are coming to visit. Nick thinks the couple is going to ask him for money but they don’t. They ask him for something more personal.
Nick’s cousin Bobby is portrayed by Bill Burr (Breaking Bad) and Bob’s wife Carol is portrayed Lennon Parham. Parham is best known for her comedic roles in the films Horrible Bosses 2 (Roz) and Confessions of a Shopaholic (Joyce), and on the TV shows Best Friends Forever, Playing House (Maggie Caruso), Veep (Karen Collins) and Accidentally on Purpose (Abby). Fun fact about Lennon: She was named after John Lennon of The Beatles. New Girl airs Tuesdays at 8pm on FOX.
