The Denzel, Wesley Snipes, Samuel L. Jackson Reunion Too Few Saw

Just a quarter million views? For these three extraordinary personalities having a blast on the same stage? Denzel Washington, Samuel L. Jackson and Wesley Snipes have all been in the Hollywood stratosphere. It goes without mentioning (#oscarsallwhite) why that’s rare. But the triumphant triumvirate haven’t worked on the same film since Spike Lee’s great Mo’ Better Blues in 1990. It was to honor Lee that they shared the stage in the video below, filmed last November at the Governor’s Awards where Lee won an honorary Oscar.

All three men speak, and things get both hilarious and deadly serious. But if you want to know how they feel about each other all you have to do is watch Denzel’s smile as Snipes speaks at the start. That is the definition of a joyous smile. And of course it doesn’t hurt that it’s a movie star smile, too.
