Former boxing champion Laila Ali, daughter of Muhammed Ali, says she knew Holly Holm would beat Ronda Rousey but didn’t know it was going to go down at UFC 193 with a head kick. Ali says Rousey’s opponents in the past weren’t really a challenge for her until she met Holm in the ring. And according to Ali, it wasn’t a fluke. “I think that if she fought her again, then the same thing and worse will happen,” Ali predicts.
UFC 193 was in November so why is Laila Ali speaking up now? In addition to promoting her lifestyle blog about food and hair and home décor, Ali is filming the new season of Celebrity Apprentice with former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger (who’s replacing presidential candidate Donald Trump), pop star Boy George, and Jersey Shore reality star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, among others.
