On Love & Hip Hop, Amina Buddafly (who is pregnant again with Peter Gunz’s baby) freaks when she finds out that Peter and his ex Tara are still sleeping together. “Finding out that I’m pregnant was supposed to be a happy occasion,” Amina says, “but it turned out to be a nightmare.” With her sister back in Germany, Amina feels like she doesn’t have anyone to talk to. So she call’s Peter’s adult daughter Whitney for advice. P.S. Whitney is a mom, too.
When Amina asks Whitney if she knew about Peter and Tara, Whitney doesn’t say yes or no. She says: “I know my dad.” Whitney explains, “My dad has a good heart but when it comes to women, he has a problem.” Whitney’s seen her father with a lot of different women (Peter is the father of 8, soon to be 9). “Is that what you want for Cori?” Whitney asks Amina. Amina says she wants to do the right thing for her little girl Cori but will she have the strength to let go of Peter? It worked out okay for Whitney’s mother. When Whitney’s mother turned 40, Whit made her mom a sweet flipboard (see below). Love & Hip Hop airs Mondays at 8pm on VH1.
