Elizabeth Blau is the new investor on the TV reality competition show Restaurant Startup. On the show, she’ll have the opportunity to invest in the restaurateurs on the show. She’s the founder and CEO of Blau + Associates, a restaurant development company based in Las Vegas. She’s known for transforming the city into the culinary destination it is today.

After graduating from Cornell School of Hotel Management Blau launched her career with Sirio Maccioni, who brought Le Cirque to Vegas. Blau went on to work with Steve Wynn as VP of restaurant development for his Mirage Resorts and Bellagio. With her husband chef Kim Canteenwalla, Blau opened Society Café at Encore. Blau’s latest endeavor is Andiron Steak & Sea which opened in the Vegas suburbs in March 2015. Restaurant Startup airs Wednesdays at 10pm on CNBC.
