Recipe for Deception is Bravo’s new reality competition cooking show. Hosted by standup comedian Max Silvestri, the show will feature four chefs who will do anything (note the word deception in the title) to impress the two elite judges — chefs Jonathan Waxman and Chris Oh.
[Who Is ‘Recipe for Deception’ Host Max Silvestri?]
Chris Oh is the Season 3 winner of The Great Food Truck Race. After winning that title, he opened Seoul Sausage restaurant in Los Angeles where he serves galbi poutine, Korean friend chicken, and fried balls stuffed kimchi fried rice and ginger mayo. He just opened a second Seoul Sausage in downtown LA and has two food trucks on the road. His latest endeavor is Hanjip, an upscale Korean bbq place in Culver City. Another Hanjip is coming soon. Somehow, Oh finds a way to also run Escala and develop a line of chefs’ clothing coming later this year. His career goal is to become the “Jay-Z of the food world.” Recipe for Deception airs Thursdays at 10pm on Bravo.
