The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons (Sheldon) is one of several celebrities featured on the Long Island Medium episode “Celebrity Spirit.” Long Island Medium’s Theresa Caputo connects Parsons and his sister Julie Pruski with their late father Jack Parsons, who was killed in a car accident in 2001.

On Long Island Medium, Jim Parsons gets emotional during the reading. After the taping, Parsons told ET it was an “intense” experience. Of Caputo, he said: “She’s the right medium — I guess you would say — to get across some deep messages. I just love her. I was only sorry when we had to stop.” Other celebrities on the show include soap opera legend Susan Lucci, Katie Lowes (Quinn on Scandal), and Jamie-Lynn Sigler (Meadow from The Sopranos). Long Island Medium airs Sundays at 9pm on TLC.
