In the TV movie Family for Christmas, investigative journalist Hannah Dunbar finds herself at the height of her career but alone. She can’t help thinking what her life would have been like if she stayed with her boyfriend Ben (Tyron Leitso). In a magical, Santa Claus moment ala It’s A Wonderful Life, Hannah is transported to a life where she and Ben stayed together and had a family. When the single career woman wakes up in the suburbs with two kids and a dog she freaks out but learns to love it. (That’s not a spoiler. It’s Hallmark.)

Hannah is portrayed by Lacey Chabert. The 33-year-old actress from Louisiana is best known for her roles as second fiddle Gretchen in the film Mean Girls, on Party of Five (Claudia Salinger), and more recently on Baby Daddy (Dr. Amy Shaw). Chabert is also a popular voice actor. You can hear her on Transformers: Rescue Bots (Dani Burns), Young Justice (Zatanna Zatara/Isis), Family Guy (Meg Griffin), and Star Wars video games (Mako). Family For Christmas will premiere on Hallmark Channel on December 13 at 8pm.
