Coat of Many Colors is the TV movie based on the true story of country singing legend Dolly Parton. It’s not a glamorous behind-the-scenes kind of story. It’s an inspirational narrative about a little girl named Dolly and her tight-knit family who struggle together in Tennessee after a devastating tragedy. Nine-year-old Dolly is portrayed by the young and talented Alyvia Alyn Lind. Dolly’s father, Robert Lee Parton, a farming father of 12, is portrayed by Ricky Schroder.
