On The Good Wife episode “Lies,” Eli Gold (Alan Cumming) is scheming to destroy his former employer, Governor Peter Florrick (Chris Noth). And Peter’s estranged wife Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) doesn’t seem to mind. When not encouraging Eli to plot against Peter’s presidential campaign, Alicia is taking on new clients. She and her new business partner, Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo), are defending Kristen Balko, a woman who was fired from a technology firm for failing a lie detector test.

The bespectacled Balko is portrayed by Anna Wood. She’s been acting for only six years but has appeared on several TV shows including Cold Case, Brother & Sisters, House of Lies and Mad Men. But Wood is best known for her recurring roles on The Following (Julianna), Madam Secretary (Sarah Eckhart), Reckless (Jamie Sawyer), and Deception (Nichole Frishette). The Good Wife airs Sundays at 9:30pm on CBS.
