On the Gotham episode “Rise of the Villains: Worse Than a Crime,” Gotham City cop Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) teams up with some unlikely allies (The Penguin/Oswald Cobblepot) to rescue Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) who’s been kidnapped by Theo Galavan (James Frain). Meanwhile, Gotham fans will meet Victor Fries. When not working for Wayne Enterprises as a cryonics engineer, Dr. Fries is trying to find a cure for his wife Nora (Kristen Hager) who is gravely ill. Along the way, he’s developed a freeze gun which he uses against Batman as Mr. Freeze.
