On Nashville, while Maddie (Lennon Stella) and Colt (Keean Johnson) join Luke (Will Chase) on tour, Gunnar (Sam Palladino) enlists Kevin (Kyle Dean Massey) and Will Lexington (Chris Carmack) to help him find a new girlfriend. Heads will turn with the arrival of Erin. Nashville execs describe her as a twentysomething “east Nashville hipster” who’s working as a sound engineer. She’s a free spirit not looking for any kind of commitment which could suit Gunnar just fine.
Erin is portrayed by Scout Taylor-Compton. The 26-year-old California native has appeared on several TV shows from Ally McBeal and ER to Frasier and Gilmore Girls (she played Clara Forester, Dean’s little sister). Taylor-Compton is also recognized for her roles as Laurie Strode in the Halloween movies (Evil Has a Destiny, Family Is Forever) and as rocker Lita Ford in The Runaways. Fun fact about Taylor-Compton: Her nickname is Pouty Scouty. Nashville airs Wednesdays at 10pm on ABC.
