In the TV movie Reluctant Witness, a young woman named Melissa gives up her mobster husband, Jimmy Collins (Paul McGillion), to the police. She gets into a witness protection program, changes her name to Erin, moves to Northern California and marries a vineyard owner, Levon Villenueve (Bruce Ramsay). Ten years pass, Erin is told her first husband is dead and believes it until she meets her best friend’s new boyfriend, Warren Cooper. Erin is convinced Warren is Jimmy, and he’s in town to seek revenge and to take her daughter Becky. And she’s right!
Erin is portrayed by Mia Kirshner. The Canadian-born actress is best known for her roles in Syfy’s Defiance (Kenya Rosewater), The Vampire Diaries (Isobel Flemming), The L Word (Jenny Schecter) and 24 (Mandy). Reluctant Witness will air on LMN on October 11 at 8pm. It will air again on October 12 at 12am and October 18 at 6pm.
