Nesbitt is portrayed by Eric Mabius. He’s best known for his roles on Ugly Betty (Betty’s boss, Daniel Meade), The L Word (Tim Haspel), The O.C. (Dean Jack Hess), and the BBC America sci-fi series Outcasts. He’s also recognized as Oliver O’Toole, the protagonist of the Hallmark Channel TV series and spin-off TV movies, Signed, Sealed, Delivered. O’Toole and his postal detective friends solve mysteries based on the clues left in undeliverable letters and packages from the past. Chicago Fire airs Tuesdays at 10pm on NBC.
