The next GOP presidential debate will be held at the Coors Center at the University of Colorado in Boulder on October 28 at 8pm ET. Three moderators will be on hand – John Harwood, Carl Quintanilla, and Becky Quick. Quick is the 43-year-old anchorwoman who’s best known from CNBC’s weekday financial morning show Squawk Box. Quick also hosts the network’s “On the Money.”
Quick was born in the Midwest but her family eventually settled in New Jersey. After graduating from Rutgers University in 1993, she covered retail for The Wall Street Journal and later oversaw foreign affairs for the WSJ website. Then she joined CNBC where she met her future husband Matt Quayle, executive producer of Squawk Box. She is the mother of a four-year-old son, Kyle Quayle. The GOP debate will air on CNBC on October 28 at 8pm.
