On the new TV series Blindspot, Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) has a lot on her plate. First she learns she has the same Navy SEAL tattoo as a recently captured jewel thief. And then a mysterious bearded man from her memory pays her violent visit. On top of that, FBI Agent Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and Bethany Mayfair (Marianne Jean-Baptiste) are unsure if they can trust Jane.
The mysterious bearded man, aka “Ruggedly Handsome Man” according to imdb, is portrayed by Johnny Whitworth. He’s appeared on several TV shows including Party of Five, The Shield, Numb3rs and Without a Trace. Whitworth is best known for his roles on The 100 (Cage Wallace) and CSI: Miami (Detective Jake Berkeley). He also appeared in the films Limitless with Bradley Cooper (which has been made into a TV series), and 3:10 to Yuma with Russell Crowe and Christian Bale. Whitworth’s most recent film is the drama Bad Hurt, which just won Best Narrative Feature at the Sunscreen Film Festival. Blindspot airs Mondays at 10pm on NBC.
