On the Castle episode “The Nose”, Castle (Nathan Fillion) must figure out who stole a valuable painting and killed the person transporting it. His only witness is Mia Laszlo who believes “she can sniff out the murderer.” She’s even wearing a nose ring to accentuate her keen sense of smell. And she won’t be shy about revealing what her nose picks up after meeting Castle’s estranged wife Beckett (Stana Katic).
The strange witness is portrayed by Stephnie Weir. She’s best known for the myriad roles she played on MADtv. Since then she’s appeared on many TV shows including Weeds and Modern Family. Weir most recently played Kristen Laybourne on the series The Comedians with Billy Crystal and Josh Gad. Look out for Weir on an upcoming episode of Life in Pieces (Nov. 9). Castle airs Mondays at 10pm on ABC.
