The idea of creating Loliware edible cups came to Chelsea Briganti and Leigh Ann Tucker in 2010. When the pair won a Jello contest with their edible drinking cups, people wanted to know where they could buy them. Not only do Loliware edible cups taste good “a bit like a fruit roll-up” and come in a variety of pretty flavors/colors, but they’re also good for the environment. They’re 100 percent biodegradable! Loliware edible cups are made from seaweed, organic sweeteners and flavors and colors derived from fruits and vegetables.

One party pack of Loliware Edible Cups includes sixteen 5 oz. cups. You get four cups of each flavor – Yuzu Citrus, Matcha Green Tea, Tart Cherry and Vanilla Bean. The set sells for $49.99 on the Loliware website. (That’s $3.14 per cup.) Or, you can buy a pack of 4 Tart Cherrys for $14.99 ($3.75 each). According to the website, “The single-use cups maintain their shape and consistency for 24-hours continuously with room temperature, chilled, or frozen drinks and desserts.”
