Gospel singer Celeste Betton wowed everyone during the Blind Auditions of The Voice with her performance of “Love You I Do.” Now as member of Team Pharrell, she’s squaring off with Mark Hood for the first battle round. Together, they’ll sing “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.”

Celeste Betton used to be known in Ozark, Missouri as Celeste Graham, before she married her husband, Staff Sgt. Kevin Betton who serves in the US Army as a chaplain’s assistant. (His father, Bishop Kevin L. Betton, Sr. is a pastor.) Celeste and Kevin have two daughters, Kyndal and Mikayla who are 7, and a two-year-old son, Judah. In 2014,Celeste was a finalist in the annual, military-wide “Operation Rising Star” voice competition, where she sang “Let’s Stay Together” at the Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on FOX.
