When Ladies of London star Caroline Stanbury was being grilled by American Juliet Angus about Caroline straddling Juliet’s husband Gregor at a New Year’s Eve party, Sophie Stanbury had Caroline’s back. She was quick to tell Juliet that her husband enjoyed it and to lighten up. “You Americans have no idea how to party,” a bored Sophia said before walking out. “I’m gonna go hang out with the Brits!” Sophie’s attitude is so similar to Caroline’s, it’s understandable if you mistake them for sisters. They are – sisters-in-law, anyway.

Caroline introduced Sophie to her brother Alex Stanbury and they got married. Alex is the CEO of River Petroleum Corp., an oil and gas company. Sophie is the mother of his two children – sons Harry and Finn – and is now working as an interior decorator. According to her website, she designed Caroline’s Gift Library office, the one with that pink neon sign “Be Nice!” which was recently forced to close. It’s the only project featured on the website.
