In one of the most interesting judge conventions since the Supreme Court went on that trip to Tahiti together, former America’s Got Talent judge Howard Stern interviews current The Voice coach/judge Adam Levine of Maroon 5 fame on The Howard Stern Show. Stern is a master interrogator who always gets a lot out of his celebrity interview subjects. (Perhaps they relax because, for once, it’s not about being on camera?)
[Who Is Behati Prinsloo? Adam Levine’s Supermodel Wife?]
Levine doesn’t need much prodding though — the rock star with the supermodel wife likes to talk. Stern asked Levine about the rumors that Maroon 5 was deep in talks about doing the Super Bowl halftime show. Not so, revealed Levine, though “I think the band would be like thrilled to do it,” he said. Not a stretch, really — it’s a coveted gig. “I like the fact that we can talk about it,” Levine told Stern. “But as far as where the rumors came from, that had nothing to do with any real conversations.” Which begs the question: what’s a real conversation? Have there been any conversations — which for some reason don’t meet Levine’s criteria for “real”? Maroon 5 fans hope so.
Yep! You heard that right: @adamlevine is sitting in at the top of the show! #TheVoice #Howard pic.twitter.com/Tyz3gtIrCa
