Kimmi Kappenberg is one of the 20 returning castaways on Survivor Cambodia – Second Chance. In Koh Rong, an island in the South China Sea, Kimmi will join the Bayon Tribe with the likes of Andrew Savage and Jeremy Collins. Survivor fans remember Kimmi from Survivor: The Australian Outback, where she had a finger waving argument with Alicia who luckily isn’t in Cambodia this season.

During a recent interview, Kimmi was asked if she made any pre-game alliances in the US before the fan voting period. She said no because she worried about falling into a CBS network trap. She heard there was talk of a Culpepper alliance but she didn’t participate in fear of it being a ruse set up by CBS. “I didn’t talk to anybody because I was just so afraid that it was a baited trap by CBS to say, ‘Hey, you’re not supposed to go and talk to somebody.’” Entertainment Weekly reports “the reason the people that did not make it did not make it is not because they took part in pre-game alliances. But I love the paranoia and conspiracy theories being thrown out here.”
