The star of the new drama Quantico is Priyanka Chopra. The former Miss India and Miss World and Bollywood star is making her debut on American TV. Before reading the script for Quantico, she said she was skeptical. She told People: “I was honestly skeptical,” Chopra says of being offered a holding deal at ABC. “I didn’t want to play a stereotypical role. I wanted a great part, and they found me one. She’s like a female Jason Bourne.”

Chopra portrays Alex Parrish, one of the new young recruits at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. They are the best and brightest but one of them is suspected of masterminding a terrorist attack on US soil. Quantico airs Sundays at 10pm on ABC.
