Fashion model Coco Rocha just became a mother for the first time in March. The 27-year-old Canadian stunner gave birth to an adorable little girl named Ioni. Like many celebrities, Rocha posts photos of her child on Instagram but “doesn’t welcome negative comments.” When Rocha posted a photo of six-month-old Ioni drinking from a bottle, Rocha was criticized for not breastfeeding. Instead of ignoring critics or ceasing to post photos from her private life, Rocha fell into the social media trap of explaining herself to trolls. She defended herself by writing: “I loved breastfeeding Ioni for the first 5 months of her life and then one day my milk went dry.” The explanation went on about how there’s no perfect way to parent. Rocha will serve as a guest judge on Project Runway with Heidi Klum (a big breastfeeding advocate) on September 24 at 9pm on Lifetime.
