Actress Olivia Munn (Newsroom, Daily Show) is currently filming X-Men: Apocalypse. During an interview with Good Housekeeping, Munn spoke about her telepathic, telekinetic superhero character Psylocke, and told a story about her friend, the Long Island Medium, Theresa Caputo.
They met three years ago at Live with Kelly and Michael. Just minutes after being introduced, Caputo told Munn that she was seeing a necklace that Munn’s grandmother had given Munn but was accidentally given away. Munn said, “I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh.’ She has a gift.” (Munn’s grandmother told Caputo to tell Munn that she was happy Munn had made a replica.) Over the years, Munn says Caputo has helped her open up. “Now I believe in God, or whatever you want to call it. I believe that our souls exist past this — and that as long as we’re good to each other, that’s all that really matters.” Hmmm. Wonder what Psylocke would think of that. X-Men: Apocalypse will be in theaters on May 27, 2016.
